Dr. Philip C. Hunt earned his Doctorate at the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine in 2011 and joined Wood Creek Dental that same year. He specializes in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and sedation dentistry and offers a wide spectrum of treatments that address all aspects of dental care including: Preventive Care, Root Canal, Dental Crowns and Bridges, Porcelain Veneers, Tooth Extractions, and Dental Implants.

Dr. Philip Hunt’s field of dental experience has been broadened and enhanced through his participation in dental mission’s trips to Ecuador and in providing dental care in free clinics, both in Greenville and in Charleston. He’s an active member of the Downtown Presbyterian Church and avid supporter of local mission needs. Dr. Philip is an Adjunct MUSC Professor for students on rotation and for Greenville Free Medical Clinic where he volunteers.
He has gone through additional training and earned certifications in these areas:

- Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) Training
- Certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Dr. Philip Hunt has been a valuable part of the Wood Creek Dental team since 2011 and is the youngest son of our founding dentist, Dr. Dale Hunt. He may be the last of the children to join the practice, but he stands head and shoulders above the rest—at 6'5" that is quite literally!
He loves the great outdoors and just about anything you can do out in it. His hobbies include fishing, fly tying, hiking, camping, snow skiing and playing golf, just to name a few. Dr. Philip is married to Corey Mize Hunt, a PT with SSI Physical Therapy in Greer, and they welcomed their first-born son, Paul Hayden, as an early Christmas gift in 2011. Daughter, Julie Madison, joined the family in June of 2014.
Fortunately, Corey enjoys doing almost all of the same activities as her husband, and the two of them love traveling and exploring new places together. Their family is often accompanied on their outdoor treks by their yellow lab, Hank, and their golden retriever, Sage.
