Teeth Whitening Options

Teeth whitening is an increasingly popular treatment. At our Greenville and Landrum offices serving all of Upstate, SC, we offer both “at-home” and “in-office” teeth whitening. With these options, we can customize a treatment plan that fits your schedule and your budget.

Brightening with At-Home Teeth Whitening

The at-home teeth whitening system can create a noticeable improvement in the appearance of your smile. To start the at-home teeth whitening process, impressions are made of the upper and lower teeth, and custom bleaching trays are made in one week. Our cosmetic dentists will advise you about additional treatment details, such as how often and when you should wear your trays to achieve the most noticeable results. “Brightness” occurs for most patients using the at-home system in approximately 2 weeks.

Deep Bleaching with Combined Treatments

We also offer an in office and at home deep bleaching system. The first office visit utilizes a desensitizing solution and a whitening gel. The entire process of the first teeth whitening visit will consist of 2 twenty-minute sessions. Whiter teeth are noticeable immediately. The first office visit is followed by the patient bleaching at home for 14 consecutive nights. Then, the patient returns to the office for 3 twenty-minute sessions. Teeth Whitening Results

All teeth whitening results depend on 100% compliance by the patient during the two week at home tray application. Our cosmetic dentists can also provide information on maintaining the results of your teeth whitening treatment, such as:

  • Refrain from smoking and using other tobacco products
  • Continue routine dental care with regular visits to your dentist
  • Perform touch-up treatments every few months or as needed
